Front shock question
Hi guys, got a question about a front shock on my 08 ML63AMG Shock looks pretty new i would say 3 years old Arnott. Airbag is good but when driving at slow speeds over bumps clunks like a bad shock, on driver side only. At higher speeds no sound at all . Hooked up my Steelman wireless chassisear to listen where the noise coming from, defiantly from shock.
I had my rear go bad not long a go was making same noise but i seen oil leak on it pretty bad. After i replaced it knock went away. My front one is dry looks like brand new but knocks bad on bumps. so my question is is it toast i should just replace it? or maybe something got loose inside of it i know they are made from 2 parts shock and a airbag. What should i be looking for? maybe there is no oil but gas inside? or maybe that calanoid is bad?
