Code 2510-01 relating to Boost Pressure Regulator Y77/1
Good morning, I have ML 320 CDI 2009 model, code 2510-01 is showing on my scanner, vehicle is lacking boost and kick down. I ran the test for component Y77/1, the boost pressure regulator or wast gate controller, and the arm on the regulator moved during the test, I cleared the codes and l still have the problem and codes and issue returned.
I removed the regulator and checked for open circuits on the pcb, none were found.

Did you ever get any help with this or find a solution? I have the same code on my '08 GL320 today. It just came on at lunch so I hooked up my iCarsoft for the code but haven't had a chance to troubleshoot yet.

I didn’t get a response on this site but did a bit more research and replaced the turbo actuator. I replaced it with a generic (Chinese) brand and will get the original rebuilt.

For the replacement check eBay, depending upon where you are it may take a while for delivery but my vehicle was still drivable. Keeping the revs below 3,000 and use the paddles to change gears it wasn’t a problem.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve also got codes for both high and low boost so a malfunctioning actuator makes sense. I’m going to do my troubleshooting with that in mind.
