06 ML500 Bouncing/Machine Gun Door Lock, Rear Passenger
When I try to look the 06 ML500, I get the bouncing door lock and no lock for the rear passenger door. I've googled around and see that this is a thing for this era Mercedes, the E class for instance, and there are a lot of videos about replacing the springs, as well as kits available. You pull the actuator and repair.
When I look for information on the problem specific to the ML series, I don't find much. When I look for rear passenger actuators it looks like it is a sealed unit, and a good used one is about $100. Does anyone know whether the actuators can be repaired with springs? Or do I just have to repair this with a replacement?
I want to sell this car, so I am trying to take care of everything wrong with it so, hopefully, it will be an easy sale.
