Liftgate Latch Deosn't Open with Remote Key Fob
Hi everyone,
On my 2008 ML350, due to faulty latch, I replaced the latch. Now all buttons work; the one on end of the tailgate, the switch on the driver side. The key fob however, does close the liftgate but when I use the fob to open the liftgate, I can hear a clicking sound trying to open, but it cannot. It keeps trying until I press the fob again to stop the trying. Except this one malfunction, ALL other switches work fine. I can even open the latch with the lever from inside on the lower back of the liftgate.
Here's the code that I get, but that switch does work, I don't know why I get this code:
"9500 Component S62/26 (RWTS button) 'Close rear-end door from inside' is stuck in switched condition (contact is stuck)"
Any guidance will be appreciated.
