Please help 2006 ml350 driver side rear turn signal says it’s out
So my 2006 ml350 says its rear driver side turn signal is out but it works with hazards and on other side. Bought and diagnosed with machine says component E3e1 or line to component has short circuit to positive or open circuit. I’ve searched online to find a fix and can’t. Someone please help me I can’t get it through inspection.

Might want to look into rear SAM. There are plenty in the forums. Just because it is lighting up doesn't mean it is in good condition. Some other symptoms are SOME lights are brighter than others. Some are staying perma lit. Even having below ~11volts will light but dim. ECU then detects not getting proper voltage.

Repaired same bulb problem
Had the same when I got my 2008 ML320. Tried changing to bulbs from MB dealer and same again. Found a post, I think on this forum or another, guy said he soldered a piece of copper to the metal around the bulb to thicken and increase contact point of bulb. I got a small copper strip and took it apart and I ended up just building the contact point up with solder and it's been fine ever since then. Good luck.
