How to enable or disable the sounds/chimes in W164? The user manual doesn't mention anything about this. Only on fuel low warning, I am getting the chime.
Need to enable for these-
1. Lock/unlock
2. Key insert/start
3. Trunk opening

Please advise.

Just to add the chime function is working fine; when I leave the parking lamp ON when removing the key, it is continuously chiming the warning tone.

Unable to see any choices in COMAND menus :-(

I am quite sure the trunk chime is part of the latch module. I only say this because I just replaced my latch and noticed the chime speaker is right there too and the wires seem to go directly to the latch. If you pop off the panel in the picture you can see it. FYI it pops off by prying the top only all the way across.

Tried but didn't work. Gave it back to the auth. garage and they made it worse. What was audible earlier has now become feeble :-( When complained, I was told that they will look for any firmware update/patch available and notify me. Am waiting for more than 10 days already :-(
