wierd problem with gearbox
hi my dad has a 2011 W164 4-matic
recently when you drive the car when its cold the gearbox slips while changing and when you keep driving for long distance the slips gets hard over and over and then surprisngly all the dashboard lights gets on and the fuel & RPM indicator gets off and the speed indicator keeps jumping from 0 to about 40 all the way and the gearbox starts knocking hardly and when you stops the car and turned it off it will not start the engine untill you disconnect the battery for about 10 seconds then it will starts again normally.
what do think is the problem?
