Does anyone know what this is?
This is some kind of leveling device from the underside of my ml350.are there any instructions for getting at this? I feel like it’s inside the plastic housing.any help appreciated.

That's not from your car. Mercedes haven't made anything that looks that solid since the 70s.
Looks like a pad from a hoist. Have you had your car in for servicing?

yes I went there and they were missing
it for onver2 weeks and260 miles it had been bobbing around inside the plastic chase only to come out with the small end hanging down behind the drivers wheel well. They were just as suprised to have it return as they were for it to vanish. They did give me a discount of $40on firer oilchange.
