Loudy Engine ML350

Hello, my car's engine is very noisy and cumbersome (2007 ML350 - 164.186). There is no problem when driving normally, but when I press the gas it makes a lot of noise.
I used to think that the catalysts in my car were removed and a silencer was not installed. I had 2 new catalysts installed in my car over the weekend, but the car still has the same noise, the new catalysts did not make any difference.

I don't have any fault codes on the engine, air filters are new, maf sensor is new.

Also, my car's revs seem to be too high. Is yours like this?

1900rpm at 90km/h
2000rpm at 100km/h
2400rpm at 120km/h
2900rpm at 140km/h

Are your engines quiet? What could be causing mine to be noisy?

I see your Check Engine light is on in the last picture… what codes are you coming up with?

I will say these trucks have higher RPM on the highway than expected. My ML63 is in the 2200-2300 RPM range at 75 MPH or so whereas my 2021 Ford Expedition will be at 1700-1800 RPM. But the MB has a 7 speed transmission vs a 10 speed in the Ford so I’m assuming that’s the difference.

Last photo which has check engine lamp is very old photo now i solve all problems and car has no DTC.

I checked my other car rpm values Audi 3.0tfsi, in city speeds about 60-70kmh 1200rpm, at the 140kmh 2200rpm at the 8th gear.

I thought that as the engine of the car gets larger, the rpm will decrease. but it looks like normal rpm values for ML350 (7th gear 2900rpm at 140kmh)

and i checked my ml350 is also 2400rpm at 120km/h , its similar with your ML63 amg.

The MLs have a higher final drive ratio to give them some more oomph off the line. From memory, its in the high 3s, approx 3.90 but you might also see some variation between models. That alone will give you much higher engine speeds.

In comparison, my ML550 sits at 2100 rpm at 100kmh. My buddies E500 with the same engine and trans sits at 1700 rpm.

Actually, I'm wondering if these gear ranges can be changed with software etc. (with xentry for example)

Also, due to the slow acceleration of the car (throttle responses are very slow), I changed the pedal (KL2) and 1-2 settings in the Xentry ME97 settings, but I did not notice much.

Gear ratios are fixed and can't be changed.

To increase responsiveness, try an electronic throttle controller. They don't increase power, but they do increase the responsiveness from your pedal inputs.
