Rear parking sensor volume too low
I noticed when getting close to something from behind the beeping is barely audible versus the front sensor.
Is there a way to increase this?
FYI the car has been rear-ended twice both very lightly and the needed repairs completed. Once from a stop at a red light and second while in line at a fast food place (I kid you not).
It's been many years since the last repair so I cannot go back to the last shop if to have them look at it and I didn't test that out when I picked up the SUV

One thing to look at might be the rear sensors and the wiring. Ive seen quite a few posts here that detail corrision in the connectors for the rear sensors due to water ingress. Seems like a common issue. I know mine go a bit haywire when it rains.
Additionally, it maybe that your sensors are not as receptive as they should be. When the rear sensors go off, do he lights on the dash equal the sound in terms of intensity? Maybe do a compare with the front ones.
