I noticed the rubber seals that wrap around both headlights are deteriorating. AutohausAZ has them for $26 each.
How critical are these seals? Has anyone replaced them? Thoughts? Thanks!

My W164 is a 2010 year model, 2WD, gasoline engine, with 183k miles on the odometer.
I couldn't find the "Edit" button, so I'm adding this information here.
I would definitely replace them, AND polish the headlight lens..
How come your headlight is looking so worn? My ML is also from 2010 but still looks shiny,,
