Going to install running boards. Need to remove jack pads. This is what mine looks like.....how do you get that center white piece off? Does the screwdriver go into the one of the 3 open slits and pry off?

I tried to move, turn or flip the white thingy. Didn't work.
Then I used a large flat screwdriver between the black part and the car itself and and easily pried the pad off with the leverage of the large screwdriver .

Running boards come with new pads. Besides I pried mine off and they are not broken
Jack pads were easy to take off.
But I gave up trying to get the aftermarket running boards installed. I couldn't get them to fit. Dropped it off to a shop that said it requires modification. $350
