IR remote key barely working
My 2011 ML350 has a small problem. When I leave my car parked for an extended period of time, lets say 24 hours, my key (infrared I think?) only works after 10-20 clicks walking around the car. The battery in the key is new. Using the inserted metal key from inside the keyholder then doesn't work either. The main battery is fine, so could that be a bad auxiliary battery?
When I use the key after riding for a while it works great.
