Mysterious electrical issue
Hi guys, I was hoping for some help here. I’m kind of stumped. I have a 2010 ML 350 that only driving under hard rain. the rear Sam will short out the car will die then I’ll have to wait about an hour once it dries up the car will run no problem again
These are the codes 254100 The Fuel Pressure Sensor Of The Low Pressure Circuit Has A Short Circuit To Ground
7266 Speedtronic Occasionally Nonfunctional5170 Steering Wheel Angle: Zero Point Variation5025 No CAN Message Was Received From Control Unit
I opened up the rear Sam the Sam under the seat. Everything seems dry. I don’t see any water anywhere. Nothing seems to be wet. There’s no visible water damage in any of the connectors. I’m thinking there’s gotta be some type of shorts somewhere. I will add. I have no fuel pressure on the scanner. It reads negative one bar and also I don’t know if it’s related or not the chirp when you lock the car went away like the little horn when you lock the car completely went away. You can’t hear it anymore. Not sure if it’s related. Does anybody know where that is located or does anybody have any ideas of where I should check next
i’ve pulled off all the covers in the back, expose all the wiring in the back seats and under the sam by the fuel pump
