Mercedes 2010 ML350 4matic
W164 trailer wiring colors
Hi everyone,

Can you please tell me the trailer wire colors for a W164? I have a 2010 Mercedes ML350 4matic. I watched a trailer wiring installation video from trailer.com for a Mercedes 2015 and got the wire colors, but I am not sure they are correct for my car. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you so much.
White and black - Brake Light
Yellow and black - Left Turn
Green and black - Tail Light
Violet and black - Right turn
White ----> Ground
Black ----> Battery +

My recommendation: get the OEM harness that plugs into the rear SAM.

The part number you're looking for is A 164 440 64 34.

You will need to program the car to recognize a trailer though. Any mechanic with Xentry should be able to do this.
