I have a Mercedes Ml350 w164 with the diesel OM642 engine.
I had a yellow engine light on the car. Took a reading and it said car had fault with nox sensor upstream and downstream. Replaced both with genuine mb sensors and got them calibrated and car software updated. Then no lights. But now after a few weeks i get a new yellow light.
Car had been standing for some weeks and worked fine when i started it, except for it was alittle hard started, but a day after i got the yellow light.
Anyone that know this issue? Pretty tired of this warning light now that never go out.
been to mb dealer few times now.
Might be egr, clogged dpf, or a sensor related problem. Or something else.
i know i should take a reading. But what could this probably be?
Clogged dpf would give another light then engine light?
