I've been driving a 2010 ml63 recently and its a fuggin blast! For the first couple days at least until I realized that my right indicator light was on while the car was off and it wouldn't turn off no matter what. It wasn't really having any other electrical issues other than the power liftgate not wanting to work and auxiliary battery light as well as the backup camera not working. I also had an issue with a coolant leak which turned to a coolant spray so ended up replacing the thermostat (plastic piece broke off) and after doing so it gave a whole bunch of warnings like distronic and speedtronic not functioning, srs light, check engine light, front right service required, low coolant, and parking light,fog light right turn signal all not functional. The problems I experienced were the mirrors not folding in, bottom half of buttons of dash wont work, obd port wont work, windows wont calibrate, turn signals wont work and probably more that I wasn't able to check before parking it. After fixing the coolant issue it was driving amazing but all the warning lights were worrying and I'm not able to pull any codes. I had an issue with the upper radiator hose and had to take it all apart a second time so I made sure all the connectors related to that were clean. I've already gone through 2 batteries from jumpstarting it because the indicator light wouldn't turn off so I cant really drive it everyday until this problem is fixed which means I'm driving the dam prius again. When trying to get the indicator light to turn off before all other issues started I came across a couple different forum posts talking about how it could be one of the sam modules and I'm thinking its definitely a possibility with all these other problems starting and I should also note that the last time I changed the battery I replaced the auxiliary battery and all it changed was the doors now lock when I start driving. I hope there is someone who is able to give me advise about what I could do to fix it or anything at all about this car because I can hardly find any information about it and its not entirely the same as the other ML's even though a lot of things are similar. Most likely water damage to Front SAM and possibly Rear SAM as well. These are very common symptoms. Search this forum for similar symptoms and Front SAM. There are 100s of queries and solutions to this.
