NO crank/No Start - Front SAM issue?

NO crank/No Start - Front SAM issue?
It started with the wiring inside the left headlamp, the insulation melted, I replaced the headlamp but had no power at plug. Assuming the wire coming from the Front SAM was shorted somewhere I cut the white wire with black stripe at pin 18 in Plug L to check continuity. I checked for power coming from the SAM and there was none. I also had an issue with the wipers not working found code 902a, jumped power to the wiper relay and they worked. Then I tried to move the car and now it will not start. I have no power to starter fuse #122 but if I jump power to that it cranks the starter but will not start. I have no horn, map lights (dome lights work) and after a battery reconnect I saw a message that the cruise control was diabled. I am thinking the problem is in the front SAM. Not sure if the module is blown or if the system is in a lockout mode.
This has been my daughters car for 5 years and the only major thing I have had to do to the car besides tires and brakes is a transfer case chain, and headlight replacement which has snowballed into turning the car into a boat anchor.
I have a mechanic with a scantool coming not sure what to have him do he is Venezualan and dosent speak english.

This has been my daughters car for 5 years and the only major thing I have had to do to the car besides tires and brakes is a transfer case chain, and headlight replacement which has snowballed into turning the car into a boat anchor.
I have a mechanic with a scantool coming not sure what to have him do he is Venezualan and dosent speak english.

Meu ML320 CDI também não liga. Aparece a mensagem "transmissão engatada", alguns sistemas não funcionam (como a buzina, que você também mencionou) e, às vezes, o scanner mostra o erro 9100 (painel de instrumentos sem comunicação). Já tentei de tudo, mas ainda não consegui resolver o problema.
