ML500 M113 Engine Oil Level

ML500 M113 Engine Oil Level
Hi All,
Recently purchased a ML500 (M113 Engine), I completed an oil change and changed the oil level sensor as i was unable to get a reading on the instrument cluster for the oil level (Both in the secret menu and also in the general service menu with ignition on where it calculates if the oil level is ok) In the main menu i can never get past observe waiting period. In the secret menu i can see Oil Level but no reading against it (Simple two - - ). If i turn the ignition on i can then see the engine code come up below but no actual reading displaying.
The vehicle has the dipstick blanking cap but no physical dipstick. I can see in Xentry that the oil level sensor is reading in mm within the engine control module section so its definitely working. The coding and activations within the instrument cluster all seem to be set to on for oil level. At a bit of a struggle on how to actually confirm the correct oil level on this car. I have ordered a dipstick with part number A1130100072 which i believe should be the right one based on a bit of research. Any tips or pointers would be helpful

Not sure if anyone has any further help to offer with this, Quite stuck as i cannot even find a suitable length dipstick that fits. I do have the technician dipstick which measures in mm but would really like to get the reading to display correctly on the cluster. To note i also do not get any service information available on my cluster. When it says "Calculating" it shortly fails and is unable to retrieve service information.
