ML500-2006 a/c condenser

ML500-2006 a/c condenser
Hello all, I was replacing a coolant hose when I dropped a screwdriver on the ac condenser it hit it perfectly and caused a leak. So ive already removed it just waiting for the part to get here and trying to get some clarity. 1- do i need to recharge the freon? And how much do I need? 2- the pag 46 oil how much do I need to add ive seen anywhere from 4 ounces to 20 cubic cm, which is it for just the condenser. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

If you don't replace the gas, the AC won't work.
There should be a sticker on the slam panel that tells you exactly what weight of R134 and oil is required. May also be in the hand book.
The exact amount will be the same for all W164s with the same set up... The only variance being if the car has a rear AC unit instead of a centre armrest cubby.
