Headlight Issue
The front right headlight bulb seemed to have burned out and I bought a new bulb, popped it in, tested it (it worked) before putting it back into the headlight assembly. I tested it after it was in, and the bulb did not work.
I thought perhaps the code had to be cleared. It still didn't work and threw the following error code/message:
9007component E2e2 (right low beam) or the lead has short circuit or component E2e10 (right bi-xenon lamp with integral Ignition module) or the lead has short circuit
Where should I begin? This is a 2009 ML350 4Matic.

I just replaced the headlights in my ML. When inspecting the old headlights, the coating on the wires inside the housings was cracking and falling off due to age and heat. Perhaps something is going on inside the actual housing that is causing the short. If they are originals, you may have to get new housings (Rock Auto is fairly inexpensive if you go aftermarket)
