Seriously though I would buy one for my wife(which I plan to) weither I worked there or not.
I'm looking to replace our '06 ML. Anything you are at lieberty to say would be good. I had the first MLs of the last two generations in Oregon - I may wait a ayar on this one, not sure.

l hope you guys............

can appreciate the delicate nature of this questioning..........When the 2010 Lexus RX350 was going through pilot, a few years back, the nature of new models is very secretive....Most of the pilot cars inside the plant were shrouded beyond belief........The actual pilot area was only entered with a specific swipe card........If anyone was caught in this area, and even considered taking pictures to post them, would be fired on the spot !!!!!! l know, it sounds extreme ........but l wouldn't jeopardize my job, just to post pictures......Many of you men are professionals, but "V" and myself are autoworkers...These high paying jobs are hard to come by....l'm sure the vehicle will look wonderful............

Can't wait to see some pics. Any idea of power?

Our 07 ML500 has been a gem.... no rust, no peeling, no issues what-so-ever. Just put in gas and go. We pull jetskiis to/from the beach all summer with it. No worries with the Mighty ML!

All I can say is you people are in for a treat. Ive seen one outside the "secret" room now(actually two now) and its better than the 164. When I seen the one in the room I couldnt back up from it to get angles and the lighting was lacking. Now Ive seen what I wanted to see the way I want to see it and its something to behold.

06 ML350 & 99 ML320
I guess MB has lost it's styling fame to the Japs. Been thinking 'bout quitting this mfgr a long time but after my 2006 ML350, and the '99 ML320. For the price we pay, no auto-start option, this cars look more and more like the cheapy Kia Sorento, and the other toys showing up all over the place. I think the time to move on has come. Lexus or acura here I come.

Styling has nothing to do with features like auto-start option. I am assuming you mean remote start? As far as styling itself is concerned just take a look how many SUVs are ML-like during the past 5-7 years! KIA, Hyundai, GM's Equinox, heck, even Lexus's RXs have copied design and styling queues from the ML. If you want a nice car that is totally uninspiring to drive go to Acura or Lexus. If you want originality, stick with Benz! If the new ML is totally redesigned as it is supposed to be, watch in two years time how their design is copied by the "competition". The only folks that DON'T copy are other German automakers since they too follow their own original paths. They are the true competitors to Benz IMO.

l've been working @ the Toyota Manufacturing plant in Ontario Canada, for 14 years now, and have the capability to purchase (employee discount) a Lexus RX350 for 10-15 thousand dollars cheaper than my ML550, but l still don't...I'm thank-ful, there are so many people willing to pay good money for a "glorified Toyota"... Toyota-Lexus..are "duplicators, not innovators !!!" l wish you all the best in your next vehicle purchase......and by the way, the M-Class came out before the Kia Sorento..."so who copied who ????"...

MLs are far from perfect, but I've owned a few Japanese cars, and I think the Germans unsderstand driving better and can translate that into better cars. MB, BMW, Audi, VW all have a different feel from the Japanese brands that resonates with me. I've had the first of the last two MLs here in Oregon, and may have the next one as well. Of course, that's my wifes car, and I've also had the first of the last two M3s, and that tradition may continue, as well.
