Just ordered a 2012 ML350 BlueTEC
Hi there,
The lease on my 2008 ML 320 CDi is up next month and it was a no brainer to order the W166.
This is what I ordered
Arctic white
Tobacco brown leather
Premium and Sport Packages
Leather Package
Brown Ash wood trim (open pore)
Climate control seats
Trailer hitch
Winter tray mats
Delivery should be early November but there is a shortage of components for the Sport Package which was a must for me but might delay delivery a little bit. If its not ready for delivery by November 16 then my dealer will give me a loaner until its ready.
Good price, decent discount, ok value on a trade in I had (a 2010 minivan that was paid for).
Can't wait for the new ride!!!

You're talking about the Interior Sports Package? What does that include? Is that the diamond-stitched upholstery?

The sport package here in Canada includes the air suspension and 20" AMG rims. The only criticism of my 2008 is that it rides too softly when pushing it on a twisty road and so I really wanted to order the air suspension with the option of selecting the firmer sport setting.
The bill from my dealer shows the colour as 650- Calcite white but I am going to check back with them as I see online that Arctic white is the one I thought I was getting. I don't really like the creamy gold tone of the diamond white colour.
Let me confirm with him and get back to you.

Thanks Greg - just saw that myself as well. I will assume my Dealer just made a typo on the colour name. I just emailed him to clarify it.
To be honest I was leaning towards the Dakoka brown over tobacco brown leather but decided it might be too much brown!!

Yes, IMO the brown interior would look best with white or one of the silvers, which is probably what I will do.

I just found out that Arctic white in the US is the same colour as Calcite White in Canada and Europe.
So 650 is the code and it has different names depending on where you live.
I hope I have picked the right white as Diamond White seems to be very popular in other models but I don't really like the creamy almost gold tone that it has.

I would only mind if you lived on my street! I got a $3800 discount off MSRP plus a lease rate reduction for being a repeat customer and I pushed up the value of my trade which was the real sticking point. The nice thing here in Canada is they take the value of the tax paid on the trade and take it off the lease but will be writing me a cheque for the full amount of my trade as I prefer a zero down lease for tax writeoff purposes. My wife is taking the cheque to renovate our master bathroom this fall!
All in my lease payment is $100/month lower than my 2008 and I am getting a more loaded vehicle!!

Well an update for you guys many months later. I cancelled that original order shortly after placing it due to some calls from my sales guy about some backorders and delays.
I just today agreed to lease a unit that just came into the dealership that is pretty similar to my original order.

Premium and Sport packages (including those sweet 20" AMG rims)
Trailer hitch and Running boards
Burl Walnut wood trim
I would have preferred to wait for the HID lights but honestly I live in a city and do very little night driving so its not a deal breaker. I also would never have ordered running boards but as the sales guy pointed out they are great for the kids climbing up into the back seats.
Picking it up tomorrow.
