Anyone know when the AMG option will be available in the States?
I happen to think its ridiculous that its not available right now!
Just as ridiculous as Benz not having the lighting package available until March because of some shortage....

AMG option on the 550 starts production late January. Not available on others in the US. Story on lighting is that the Japan earthquake/tsunami impacted production, but not sure if that's true.

I had no choice so I went with a 350 White on Black with a P1 package with plenty of goodies and will pick it up this Thursday.
On Friday it will be in my friends place getting HID's and the 2 front windows tinted. After the winter here in NYC I'll look for the standard 20's that come as an option on the 350 and pick em up.

I have to admit when I saw the sport package front In person at LA auto show i was not that impressed. The running boards killed it. I like the running boards too on the regular model that we have, just not on the AMG

Agreed. The running boards are a mistake icw AMG styling.
