is mb tex bad?

Actually this thread is about MB-Tex, which is far from model specific and in some applications such as the GLK it is perforated in the center section. To the original question I prefer the leather in my C63 far and away over the MB-Tex in my GLK regardless of the durability and maintenance issue. I am planning to trade for a new ML soon and for me leather is the only choice.
