Here is the official Euro technical data for the ML350 BluTEC (diesel) and BlueEFFICIENCY (gas) models. NA models may differ slightly. A few thing I noticed:

US spec differences
That's inexplicable. US features are fairly consistent between the two models, so I'm not sure how the diesel gains almost 200 lbs in the US version! Noted that Cd is 0.35 for both; maybe due to standard roof rails in US? 0-60 listed at 7.3 for both. Fuel tank is 24.6 g for both.

Why did they go with a smaller fuel tank? Was it to make room for the AdBlue tank and the small spare? I really love to range that I get from my 2010 BTC, but it seems that even with the additional MPG on the highway, the range on my 2012 that I just ordered will be less...

Why did they go with a smaller fuel tank? Was it to make room for the AdBlue tank and the small spare? I really love to range that I get from my 2010 BTC, but it seems that even with the additional MPG on the highway, the range on my 2012 that I just ordered will be less...
