Leather sport interior
Leather sport interior - leather is looks very good. No objectionable wrinkles or bags. Will post photos soon. Wheels came with the Dynamic Handling Package.

Awesome.
Now I really can't wait for mine to come in seeing these photos. It'll be very similar to yours; black w/satin ash, stitched dash and black headliner. Except no sport interior or pano. I did get the wood wheel but I'd gladly trade it for the sport version.

Despite a few minor problems, (which have either been promptly repaired or nicely convinced they are not that serious), my W164 has clearly been the best vehicle I have ever owned.
But now I am getting anxious for the W166. I know you all have had the trials of waiting and with the happy tones from Greg and others, I am thrilled to see your pics, while I drool with envy.
Hope you will excuse me if I get a little psychotic over the next few months.

Is the stitching on the dash standard on the W166, or does it only come with the leather?

The stitched MBTex dash is a Special Order option. You pay a one-time $250 special order fee for any number of SO options, then the dash is #U09 at $300 (2012 prices).

Haven't had a chance to test ACS yet (maybe tomorrow), but the ride with Airmatic and 20s is great. Only two shock settings now, vs. 3 on the W164, but they are great (comfort on W164 was way too soft).

I've been pleasantly surprised by the gas mileage of the ML63. I'm averaging about 16 mpg with 85% of my miles in the city.

WCH BOS: When you drive the ML-63 normally, do happen to listen to music? How does the music sound under a low volume during city driving? I did not check the sound system during my test drive but I must say that conversation with the SA was normal, no need to shout despite the ML-63 exhaust note.

jean7of9 - I do listen to music - mostly from my iPod or Sirius. I think that the HK system sounds great even at low volumes. The exhaust is audible when you accelerate but otherwise is quiet - there is no drone. The latest Car and Driver had a good comparison of the ML63, X5M, Cayenne Turbo and Grand Cherokee. Having had a X5 (though not M) and testing the Cayenne, I agree with the results though I think that the X5M and ML63 are equal (they were different by 1 point).

Nice truck greg, similar to mine though i did want to get air suspension here in montreal to get air we automatically get the 20 inch 5 spoke wheels and my wife and son preferred the twin spoked wheels. so did I but with air that would have been awsome, good for you guys i guess you get the long end of straw this time.IMO
