Special, Optional, Expensive 550 Wheels?

So, I should know more from my SA tomorrow, but would like to edumacate myself in advance. . .placed an order for a 550 and got a message that they want to tell me about some higher-end, optional AMG wheels. Apparently they are super expensive at the dealership, but significantly less if ordered with the car. . .that's all I know. Can anyone shed more light on this topic?

Thanks

Did they give you a brochure? If not, you can download it here: http://www.mbusa.com/vcm/MB/DigitalA...12-M-Class.pdf

On the next too last page they show the wheels. Yours come standard with 19" AMG wheels. I assume the ones they are speaking of are the 20" AMG ones that come with the Dynamic Handling Package on that car. Nice wheels.

Ahhhhh - thank you. Any idea what the MSRP should be to upgrade?

I can only guess, given the whole package is $5,150, I expect the wheels to be in the $2k range or less. Can't your dealer give you a cost?

They can and will, I just like to know the number from a "outsider" to make sure he's being honest

If you upgrade the wheels and tires, remember the dealer is keeping the OEM 19's which they'll sell to someone else as an upgrade.

OK - Cleared up - just calling to let me know that 20" wheels are only available with the handling package. . .
