Rear latch doesn't work 80% of the time. Currently at dealer for 4th time. Opens BUT DOOR doesn't go up. Car is great though.

No regrets other than all the attention the new Benz brings. Solid as a rock and great truck.

MB's overall build quality and dealer service pale in comparison to Lexus, Toyota, and Subaru. Not even close. We've had a very high number of electronic and other problems in the very short time we've owned this car. I'm getting very tired of car problems, un-knowledgeable and non-customer-service oriented service advisors, and a waiting area worse than the local Ford dealer.

Mbrace - not yet ready for prime time. The incessant squeals when connecting are kindergarten quality. People who answer are not knowledgeable. Send from google only works about 30% of the time. Overall it's not in the same league as Lexus Enform.

Lack of headlight washers is a major pain where we live. Never another car without them.

Non-HID headlights are pathetic.

When not dealing with all of these issues, it's a great car though.

I agree with Toyota and Lexus...however, Subaru has bad quality these days buddy.

Overall, we love the SUV - the gas version we have is getting faster and faster the more we drive it. It really gets up and goes.

Regret, is I think it should be about 8 -9 K cheaper.

My regret is i cant get one the way i want it unless i wait till june. The only vehicles have options i dont want. Dealer is trying to find one somewhere in the northeast ml 550 premium 2 and hid lights. colors can be palladium, steel grey or silver. If i order one its a May build. This is frustrating

Couldn't disagree more on level of service. I have been treated so well and every single person at my dealership is friendly and helpful. Also the dealership is beautiful, the waiting area looks like a hip night club and they employ about half a dozen model quality 25 year old females who are wonderful eye candy every time I am in there!!!

Mercedes-Benz' useless, idiotic, infuriating programming of the headlight washers renders them worse than useless. They are there, but you can't use them when you want them. If I didn't have Bi-Xenon headlights, I would be demanding my money back for the for washers.

I agree with 2012MLblue. The service we receive from our local MB dealer keeps us coming back. We have been dealing with this dealer for the last 5 years and they have been great. Good service goes a long way.

None what so ever. This is the best vehicle I have driven since my first car in the early '80s.

To use headlight washers try to press in 10 times on windshield washer stick. I did that on my 2011 ml550.
I do regretted purchased my 2011 ml550, it's just 15 mths old but this is 5th time in the shop for keyless not working. All 5 time of gone wrong are differents.

The Electro-Magnetic steering is pretty interesting... Steers like a 80's Caddy at a standstill, loosie goosie... and by the use of magnets tightens itself up when it has too...

None other than there is a faint squeak or rattle in the dash somewhere. Very faint, but these things annoy the dodo out of me. Car was delivered this way. I noticed it on the drive home from picking it up. Other than that small item, nothing. When I have time or at the 10K $300 oil change.... I will get the dealer to fix the dash rattle.

I agree with Lexus (owned two) but IMO you need to add Acura to your list. Owned two previously, one currently, great vehicles..

I have to say that my service advisor has been great but when I had to deal with MB corporate they were a joke. I guess they were never taught how to make a phone call.

No regrets - Just two minor points - The USB does not charge my iphone (Have to buy car charger adapter!) and MB Apps does not work with iPhone (Havent really found a phone that works to get online on the ML - Not really essential but nice to have!)

Other than that, I have had the ML350 for over 2 months and loving it

No regrets. Very troublefree so far. Cornering lights do not seem to work as advertised, and adaptive high beams a little inconsistent, but absolutely no other issues in 4 months of ownership. A huge step up from the W164.

No regrets....Our 1st MB....The Dealer is great, nice upscale waiting area, complimentary beverage bar, free loaner even for routine service. Free shuttle and p/u to the local airport and they store the MB for free and return it detailed at N/C upon your return. What's not to like? No issues yet!

Agree 100%. No regrets but it is quite a stare magnet and I really get nervous everytime I have to park it in a crowded lot. Lots of jealous door-knockers around here.

The car is generally great. But:

The paint is somewhat orange peel (mine is black). Not the quality I expected.

The nav system is not nearly as good as Tom Tom on my iPhone

The cooled seats are basically pointless. Wish I had gotten MBTex and sport interior.

Headlights are extraordinary as is the diesel.

+1 on the orange peel. I have the blue and paid extra for the orange peel. :-)
