Thumbs up VIM

Well, midcity engneering has done it again. They have a Video in Motion module for the new ML350. These guys are so honest and really work with the customer.

I owned a 2010 GLK350, which had a VIM module installed from MidCity. I called them to ask if i can return it for a credit or something. Instead, they told me to send it back so they could update the wiring harness and the software for the new ML. And the best part was the price was almost half.

Cant wait for the new truck to come in, so i cant test it out. Worked amazing in the GLK, lets hope it stays the same!

I hear you. I am ordering a couple of those iPad headrest mounts for my kids. We have two iPads and I'd rather they were in the back doing their own thing rather than trying to see a tiny screen way up front.

Two of those mounts is wayyyyyy cheaper than this module you have and zero chance of me being distracted by a movie on the cars screen in front of me.

Newb here! Figured it be easier to bring this old thread back again too. What's everyone's experience with MidCity, Naviks & the way cheaper version on ebay? I'm looking to purchase one and hopefully make the right decision.

Thanks

So how much are the iPad head rests? How much is the midcity vim module. Miss the Audi, there you could just tap into the car's computer punch in a code and have vim for free.

Not sure how much the ipad headrests are but the

MidCity VIM is $349
Naviks VIM is $249
Ebay VIM can be found for about $149

all are plus shipping. It's a tough decision lol

Enable navigation entry

Do any of above mentioned VIM systems enable navigation entry in motion?
