Parktronic Sensors

Do the sensors that come in the front and rear bumpers with the parktronic feature stay active all the time or only when we use the automatic parallel parking feature?
As in, say you were going to park the vehicle against a wall, would the sensors tell you if the front bumper was getting too close to the wall?

I believe Parktronic is always active at or below 11 mph.

They're active but can be turned off with a button on the console.
