Buffeting at 45MPH

Has anyone had a successful fix for this problem? Mine is going in again tomorrow for this and was hoping someone had it repaired so I can tell the dealer.

They still insist they never heard of this problem.

What are the prerequisites? Sunroof fully open and all windows closed, or...?

Pano roof or standard sunroof?

As has been posted elsewhere, it is apparently with everything closed up and happens in a very short speed band aroujnd 45 mph. The description sounds like a sound pressure wave inside the cabin. Only some vehicles seem to be affected.

My initial thought was that it seemed like a build up of air pressure, but the two most recent times I kept it going for a bit and now am wondering if it's a low resonance problem, like maybe a bearing or something. The lower the frequency the less directional the sound is and the more it is simply felt rather than heard (I use to be a sound engineer and we'd sometimes get newbies to take a seat on a subwoofer for a chat and then put an 11 hz mod tone in it. Most lasted about 90 seconds before rushing to the can).

I doubt it considering MB doesn't even acknowledge it is a problem. According to MB it is "normal". So its reasonable to assume that they wouldn't fix something they don't consider broken.
