Just GL for MY13. However, it's already in the ML online manual. So, likely it will appear in MY14 M-class.
I had in in my old X5 and really miss it. It was A LOT more useful than Parktronic, which I have yet to use after a month now of driving my ML.
I am hoping to do a retrofit if it is not cost prohibitive....or I might just trade in my MY13 for a MY14 to get that camera...which ever turns out to be the cheaper way to go.
Yes, it operates at only low speeds. They don't want you distracted by it going at 60 mph. But it would be kinda worthless anyway at that speed.
I used to have a lot of fun with new passengers in my X5. They couldn't understand how the top-down view was possible, since it's like having a camera at 30 feet over your vehicle. I'd tell them I had a camera up there and they'd put their head out the window, looking up for it. Or I'd tell them its a real-time satellite view that is part of the GPS system....and they'd believe me for at least a few moments.

I dont have it on my ML63. I ordered every option. I have Driver Assist 2 which has distronic and lane assist and I also opted for Night View Camera (this is bad ***). Got the Performance pack, and all the other options you can get. It arrived Friday before Christmas.
I actually didn't order panorama roof and rear entertainment. Those were my two thing I just cant see using. I did order the prewire for rear entertainment.
What exactly did that include? Is it wired all the way to the seat back? Just needing monitors?

The 360 Surround Camera became available in October, for 2nd decade December builds, and/or add-on's to existing Dec order that had not yet been locked down by the factory.
360 Surround Camera is available going forward - although this feature is limited in availablity, at the low add-on cost it is a great feature.
Have delivered three/four of mine this past week - interesting feature - one note is that surround camera gets to be a bit distracting to the driver..

MBAuP now lists 360 camera as standard on all ML models from February 2013 production including the ML250. As a result there is a price rise of $500 on all models except the ML350BT which rises by $2500. Guess they wanted to keep up with the ROW by charging a premium for diesel.
