Ventilated Seats
Anybody out there have the ventilated seat option? How well to these actually work in hot climates since they're ventilated and not actually air conditioned?
My build is on indefinite hold since there's a shortage of the upgraded leather that is required for the ventilated seats. Is it worth it?

Have the full leather on the W164 without ventilation. I am very happy with it. We have had 48oC summers with high humidity without a complaint.
Now we await delivery of the new car again with leather but again without ventilation.
PS The only car in the dealers yard with ventilation was an SLS. Nobody seems to want it here!

They are good not great. I would order them again. They have been improved over my 08 SL My father has a brand new Suburban and they actually blow cold air and it will freeze your butt. Not sure why MB does not have actual air conditioned seats. We ordered the ventilated seats in our ML because I liked the look. We have the almond color and it gives it a two tone look.

What about other seating options? What are the favorites for comfort and coolness? I'm tired of the sweaty back, and tired of waiting for my ventilated seat option.
