Newcomer to the Mercedes fold...
Dropping in to say hello, been lurking the past two weeks or so. Today I picked up our new '12 ML350 BlueTec. Black on black tex, P2, wood wheel, hitch, & running boards. Traded in a '10 Acura MDX Tech. Nothing wrong w/ it, was just ready for a change. I've always been a fan of diesels and have always loved BMW's. While I loved the drive of the X5 xdrive35d, it's still not a car which is what I would've been driving it like (might pick up a 535i this time next year). So considering my wife would be mostly driving this vehicle & the X5 has been out since '07, I decided to give the ML a try and so far I'm pleased. Only had it a few hours but already tinted the front windows (Llumar ATX 20%) & learning the COMAND functions. This board has been helpful in using the search function to figure some things out. Looking forward to contributing where I can.

Welcome. I jumped on board with this forum when I was considering an ML350 earlier this year and I'm glad I did. The folks here answered all my questions and I was able to make an informed decision to buy the ML - and I'm glad I did. Now all you have to do is post pictures and enjoy your new ride!

Welcome.
I can relate with you because prior to the 2011 ML my wife drove a 2008 MDX and prior to that a 2005 MDX. Both great SUV's with no issues but when the lease was up on the 08 she wanted the Benz.
