Door lock pins
Has anyone replaced their door lock pins with the AMG style, so they fit flush with the top of the door when locked ?
I thought i read somewhere , that they simply screw (twist) on/screw off....
I checked with my MB dealer, but although the pins are only $2 each, the technician explained that the door panels have to be removed, and the entire door lock rods have to be replaced....
Anyone with this experience ?

Just replaced mine with some Mercedes ones I picked up off ebay for $29.95. Took about 5-10 minutes to replace all 4. They just screw on/off--had to use pliers to break free the old cheep plastics ones, then they turned easily. The front ones now flush when closed, I have not paid attention to the back ones. Look better than the originals by far as well. Was going to g the AMG, but could not find them easily that said they would fit (did not check dealer). Do not take door panels off!
