The dealer would have no clue how to perform this setup. (no knowledge on retrofits- would not know where to begin etc.)
However, the retrofit is possible and MBenzNL on this board among others has done it. Contact him if you're serious.
Be prepared to pay thousands of dollars to retrofit it, though.

The local MB dealer in North Olmsted, Ohio installs them all day long. Was just there yesterday
seen a new GL being done.

Then your dealer knows what's going on! From my personal experience, dealers don't know where to begin on retrofits let alone retrofits involving electronics.
