Delay, delay and delay

I have ordered ML350 with following options in May. The production day was July 20th. However, it's still not delivered yet!! The dealer told me there is a"hold" but we don't know what it is. I am so disappointed that MB really cannot control their production system. They even dont let me know the estimated delivery date!
Do you guys think this delay is due to the rear seat heatig? I added this option because then I can also have AC control panel (not temp. but on/off and air flow) for rear seats.
I am also wondering those of you who ordered in June or July did not get the car yet then?

Black/black(MBtex)
Lighting package
Running boards
Premium 1 package
Keyless go
Lane tracking package
H/K sound
Parktronics
Rear seat heating

GLC43AMG Polar White, 21" Alloys, Prem Plus Package, LED Intelligent Light, 360 Camera
Cant think that would cause the delay as I ordered rear seat heating and mine was ordered in July ( My dealer was able to modify an existing order they had in the system) .. it was built in Sep and shipped end of Sep.. it arrived in Germany last week and has come into the MB UK's receiving warehouse.. I should know tomorrow when the dealer received it.. it might be wednesday or Thursday.. I will be able to collect it day or 2 after that. Mine on order is ML350 Bluetec Sport with 21" Alloys, AMG Bodykit, Pano Sunroof. So not sure what is going on. Also, where are you based??

ML 350 Bluetech 2013 Loving it!
It is really very frustrating for everyone.MB is inconsiderate to peoples needs and have no customer services ethics.
I ordered M350 Bluetec Sport/pano sun roof /with front heated seats/camera/running boards/beige leather/21 inch alloys/
Was built in first week of August ,was supposed to be delivered in september latest news is that, is is in germany to be shipped hopefully this week so I may get it by 24th.All up in the air , no one commits to any thing , I tried the MB customer services begging them to give me an update , not asking for expediting it but they just flatly refused to comment and said it is for my dealer to get the information they would not help.
I wish they were not so unprofessional. They just do not care!
It will help if you update your profile so we know your location.I am happy to hear Rexgold is nearly got his!

Mine took 8 1/2 months! Don't see any red flags in your specs, though, so not sure.

Mine was also ordered in May. Production date was August 24. Currently I believe it is off the coast of Ecuador en route. Hopefully I will have it November 10.

Is it possible dealer gave you the wrong build date? Seems early for May order. I got the first 2013 at my dealer built july 27 delivery Sept 29
Perhaps they sold urs to someone else. US delivery from buils seems to be no more then 3wks max and nothing on oder is strange accept 21" wheels

Delay? Here is the reason why. In a nut shell the demand is simply greater than the supply:
