Winter wheel/tire setup for 2013 W166 ML63. New Owner! :)

Today, we upgraded our bullet-proof '08 ML63 to Diamond white '13 ML63 with every option aside from B&O sound system. It came up to the same price as a well loaded Cayenne Turbo but I think it's more of a car than the Porsche. It doesn't try to be a sports car and doesn't have any personality crisis, so congrats to Mercedes for sticking to the principle - trucks are for trucking!

Since the car is on 21" wheels, I don't think it's appropriate for Minnesota winters in its current form and I would like to have a dedicated set of 20" wheels with snow tires. Looks like the car cannot take a 19" wheel, so we have to stick to 20s. What setups are you guys running on yours?

Happy Monday!

You can run 19s. Take a look at your spare, you'll notice it's a 19.

If you are interested, I am selling my 19" authentic AMG wheels with Michelin all seasons. You can see how it looks on my car on the first few pictures of my build thread in my signature.

Congrats for your new ride. You will love it. I also drive a 2013 ML-63 AMG Diamond White. Last week, I installed my winter tires. 21" Pirelly Snow and Ice Scorpion. No need to to buy new wheels. However, If you decide for 20" wheels, you should equip them with the necessary TPMS kit otherwise you will lose that feature in winter.

Nobody has wheels in the right size and offset, so ended up getting Pirrellis and will wear them on stock 21's. The car has 100 miles on it now. Not faster than W164 ML63 but much better built for sure. Dynamica headliner is a MUST.

Cheers!

headliner

Just curious, I'm ordering an ML6, why is the optional headliner a must ?
