Our ML is due in by late Dec...

I have seen the LED running board light accessory kit on a couple MLs. It's pricey (650ish), but looks great and adds some nice light when entering/exiting at night.

Has anyone installed one of these kits? I can't find much online about it...

Here's factory installed (photo jv91). I think the panel would be better painted body color. Yes, dealer can do it for about that price.

It looks great. I called a dealer and the 'accessory' is apparently on backorder. It seems like the book calls for about 1.5 hours of install time at the dealer. That tells me, it's all about drilling a few holes, and hooking up a harness or 2.

Anyone know otherwise?

I d just get these- tons of VIP cars run them, you can just wire them to the mirror puddle light and call it a day:

there are a couple high end Japanese brands (not the ones in ebay ad), they are under 200$- Brabus uses their kits.

I called a local dealer and the service dept. told me that the install time on this kit is 10 hours at $128 dollars per hour. That is excessive. I bought the kit for my 2015 ML400 wholesale and it cost me $500 from MBwholesale, good price but the install is prohibitive. I actually got instructions fron MBwholesale but the fax on the pictures is not clear.

What I would like on ML 350 2013,I would like muller tip out the back, change brake light bulbs led,puddle lights on running board,Has anyone did this?

I just ordered the kit at the dealer for installation on my wife's new ML550 that I'm taking delivery for next week. They look really sharp on these vehicles. I might get a set put on mine as well. Cost for install is about $1500 via the dealer.
