MONTVALE, New Jersey — The 2013 Mercedes-AMG Driving Academy features programs ranging from $1,795 for a basic-training session to $3,995 for pro training, Mercedes-Benz USA announced on Monday.
The high-performance school features the 2013 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, SL63 AMG, CLS63 AMG, C63 AMG Coupe, SLK55 AMG and the SLS AMG.
Program venues include Road America, Road Atlanta, Lime Rock Park and Laguna Seca Raceway.
The idea of the academy is to use professional instructors and custom exercises to increase driver skills while showcasing AMG vehicles.
The German automaker offers one-, two- and three-day driving packages at the academy that run for $1,795, $3,195 and $3,995 respectively. The one-day program emphasizes power and handling capabilities of AMG vehicles, while the two and three-day programs help drivers enhance their technical skills with focused high-performance instruction on and off the track.
This year the AMG Driving Academy will be held at four tracks: Road America from April 24-May 1, Road Atlanta from August 29-September 4, Lime Rock Park from September 12-18 and finally Laguna Seca Raceway from October 17-23, November 6-13 and December 4-10.

Mercedes-AMG offers a complimentary one-day experience if you have purchased a new Mercedes-AMG model in the last 12 months. The one-day "Basic Training" has a value of $1,795 and can also be used as a credit toward the more expensive two-day "Advanced Training" or three-day "Pro Training" programs.
