Cornering lights revisted....
I have GLK loaner driving, while my 2012 ML550 is being serviced....
Guess what ?
It has dedicated cornering lights that work, when turning a corner with the turn signal lever on...
All ML's (2012 and 2013) do not have this feature, (even with bi xenons) although the manual says it supposed to....
Whats up with that ?
No one on this board can seem to get a straight answer from anyone at MBUSA, or MB Canada why it was deleted from the ML's....

Being from down south I do actually have the active cornering lights. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
But from tests in the garage, I cannot say there is any steering linked movement in the headlamps as described in the manual as "Active Light Function".
Is this only supplied on cars without cornering lights, or is the movement very minor or speed related?

Ian, you won't see the motion while parked, except when you first start your vehicle (you should see the lights sweep up then sideways and back, if you can see where the light falls). You need to be in motion before they start to move when driving.
When you're on the road, you should see the light cone in front of your car move as you enter turns (highway off-ramps, for example).
