Code option 81p
I've bought a ML 350 2012 in Poland and I'm living in Switzerland. My dealer tell me that I've to pay to install the new GPS maps, but I've seen that the 2 first update are free.
I've the code option 81p. Does anybody know what this code is ? Does anybody know about the free maps update ?
Or perhaps about the code 255B MB MOBILO WITH DSB AND GGD ?

I have 3 years free map update - Code 502 it did come with Comand Online Code 527 in my country.
Do you have full Comand or the Becker system? I don't think there are any free updates with the Becker system.
The article you are referring to is from 2010 and probably not very accurate anymore.

I have comand aps. This article is still available. Since 2011 Mercedes offer 3 years free map update.
I've bought my car in Poland. The price was 30% less than in Switzerland. The problem is that the dealers in Switzerland don't agree with that kind of vehicle.
I've phoned to the manager and he confirmed that I can have free updates, but he was a little angry. It's a poor attitude...

It's the same here, if you come with a vehicle that is imported from Germany and not sold through the Swedish MB Agency you will not be treated very good. They won't even take it in for resale when that time comes... Ridiculousnessis what it is.
