W166 Harman Kardon rattle speaker noise
I'm taking back to the dealer tomorrow to see what they say..
I dont have the bass cranked right up and the volume doesnt have to be that loud for certain songes to cause a vibration rattle. This didnt start from new (mine is 6 months old now), but has developed over the last couple of months. Nothing seems particularly loose on the trim in that area so I will have to do the same and go back to dealer, although I think i will hang on until first service unless it gets worse.
Anyway had the car now for a couple days and couldn't be happier..
Now they will pick up my car on Friday and will fix it. Some luck with a new car, eh?
Hopefully that's the only thing that I will find wrong with it.

Once I left dealership I turned up the music (nothing crazy) and went out side to listen. I didn't hear (or so I think) any fender ringing -- was very very obvious before the repair.
When I got home I tried again (I had the music playing on the way home -- 15 or so minutes). I listened to the fender again and this time I could hear a bit of ringing. Still not even close to what it was.
So now I'm thinking -- am I going crazy and a little bit of quite ringing is OK with a hard bass line, or is the speaking going bad again? Could it be?
Makes me quite a bit upset. Do you guys hear any fender ringing on the rear driver side by where the woofer is if you listen to a song with hard bass (some techno stuff)?
MB replaced the speaker under Warranty.....seems all good now.
