Battery in keyfob dead already?

Howdy fellow members.

I've had my ML for just over 5 months now, and just over 10,000kms on the odometer.

The battery in my keyfob is going flat already. Yes I have keyless go and I know it's not a big deal to to change the battery.

What is interesting though is our C250 without keyless go is a year old now with 16,000kms on the odometer and the keyfob battery is still fine.

I am not a fan of the current MB fob battery - China or Indonesia - better result if replaced with Maxell/Japanese battery..

Have had mine 10mos, was getting the low battery msg. Replaced in both key fobs. Batteries were only about $6 for a 2 pack at Walmart, did both fobs in about 3mins.
