I joined the forum today. I placed order for 2014 ML350 on 10th July 2013 (I actually placed it on 1st of July but the dealer did not save the configuration i opted for. Luckily he rechecked it on 10th and placed another order and saved (the order and me )this time)

The dealer said that production date as of now is 20th August and might move forward since it is marked as "sold".

I would be thankful to you if you can help me in clarifying the doubts i have.

1. Will i get the vehicle to drive home on 20th Aug? I am assuming "No" - in that case what is the latest date i can have it in my hand?

2. Can we get the "Destination and Delivery" cost waived or discounted by the dealer?

3. Where and What is the best "Remote Starter" i can get for my ML350?

4. what are the typical discounts a dealer can give on such ordered vehicles?
