Hi All,
I have read good reviews of USAA Extended Vehicle Warranty but I have not found anything on how it work. I am thinking about getting an extended warranty but I think MB is way too expensive.

How does a Mercedes dealers Service department handle 3rd party warranties?
Is it a reimbursement type setup where you pay for service yourself and USAA pays you back?
Does USAA pay directly?
Or are these 3rd party extended warranties more geared for service companies that specialize in MB(non Mercedes dealer service)

The MB extended warranty covers everything. I believe the USAA warranty covers mechanical at an authorized MB shop, which also includes MB dealerships. I looked into it when I purchased my ML in July 2013 and the MB extended warranty was a better option for me.
