2012 ML350
Headlamp Assembly Removal
Can anyone help me with removal of the headlamp assembly on a 2012 ML350? I have removed the front cover plate and see two things that appear to be retainers with a flat spot on one side but when rotating them the arm on them rotates into a slot on the haedlamp assembly that prevents them from rotating far enough to align the flat spot on the retainer with the matching flat spot on the car that would appear to be a release point where they could be extracted. The attached picture shows the retainer rotated into the slot that prevents the flat spots from aligning.
