Iphone issue with ML
This is a real headscratcher. I have 2 ML's. My contact/phone book list only appears on my wifes ML not mine. I had an Iphone 4s and had the same problem. Now I upgraded to the 5s and cannot get my contacts in my car. I know it's not my car bacause my wifes Iphone lists the contacts in my car and hers. Mine only works in her car. Both my old 4s and new 5s works fine in her car. Any suggestions?

The joys of modern technology!
My wifes Nokia downloads the phone book into the A200, my HTC Android does not. But neither download into the ML !

F18BEN,
My wife and I both just upgraded to the iPhone 5s. Both our iPhone 5 and 5s had no problems transferring the contacts to our ML.
Have you tried doing a full restore on your phone? It can do wonders sometimes
Good luck and I hope you get it figured out

For COMAND reset - which wipes all - under SYSTEM then scroll down to reset.
If someone "upgrades" or "migrates" to a new handset - even if the handset provider "transfers" all info to the new handset - the BlueTooth connection and also the data in the car from the "old" handset needs to be wiped and new BlueTooth connection established.
Most people assume if all their data and tel number have been transferred to the new handset - the new handset will function n the car - but that is not the case.
Keep the beat !

Slightly different issue ....
Has any one had an issue with Iphone 5 text messages being read?
I had a Nokia smartphone and when connected with the ML350 2013 via bluetooth any text that would come would be read aloud by the "car"It was quite handy when driving also impressed a few passengers! Now with I phone 5, I have lost this facility ...Has any one had a similar experience or solution to this ?

emran,
On the iPhone 5 go to Settings and Bluetooth. On the right side of the ML350 device (MB Bluetooth) click on the "i" symbol. This shows the settings for this device.
To allow your ML350 to read your text messages make sure that "Show Notifications" is enabled. The next time your iPhone 5 pairs with your ML350 it should work
Hope this helps

OK, while we're on the subject, I have another iphone 5S issue to ask everyone about: I am having trouble getting sound out of my iphone 5S when connected to the system via Media Interface in my recently purchased 2012 ML350. I am using a Apple Lightning to 30 pin adapter and the songs are being read (I can see them on the main system screen) but not sound comes out. Anyone had this issue before? Will a reboot of the system help? Many thanks for your help!
