Tow brake controller and Mercedes plug available
I'm not posting this on classified since it is so unique to the ML/GL.
I didn't take delivery of the 2014 ML350 Bluetec due to horrific wind buffeting over 45 MPH when I opened a singe rear window (I own a big German Shepherd). I realize that all cars have this to some degree, but the buffeting would not stop even with a front window or sunroof cracked open. The problem may have been unique to this one car, but I'm not sure. The car was a dream otherwise, but my ears hurt for 3 days and I just couldn't live with it. I realize that very few other people buy an ML for hauling their dog
Anyway, I had purchased the Tekonsha P3 Prodigy trailer brake controller from Amazon and the green Mercedes plug with 4 pins from Mercedes in anticipation of receiving the vehicle. These are new in unopened packages. It is not wired but I printed out all instructions for wiring the 4 wires of the Prodigy to the 4 pins on the Mercedes plug. This would plug into the mating green connector under the driver's carpet - plug and play. Cost was $170 total.
